Hi guys. I have 2 of these, the same, stamped with number 2 and the VW logo.
What year are they? Also do they have any value? Thanks

the Logo on the foot will tell you…if its Bilstein Vigot then it fits late Split/Zwitter/early Oval cars from 52-55
Bilstein only is 55-57 Oval, the early ones 150-250$ later ones about 50-150€, depends on condition _________________ 1948 Type1 #1-078021 sold

Thanks for the information. As they are surplus and just sitting there I'll be selling them. Thanks. |

thanks for everyone who contributed to this thread (found using "search").
so i won't use up a "start separate thread", what happened to the Bilstein Rally Monkey Jack style? my '58 had one but it might no have been original. |

What a fantastic thread, so much good info here .
I have an oval jack in my '59, I *thought* it was correct .
Now I have to wade through my rusty junk to hopefully find the correct one . _________________ -Nate
