Going from memory, it has a +, a -, and 1 on the back.

+ = 12v positive
- = ground
1 = coil

I found this

Ghia Nut. Any chance you could post a picture of how you have your tach mounted. Is there a mounting cup and bracket. I have the same unit and just wondering. This thread and the links have been very helpful. Philip

I could not find a mounting cup for this thing Crying or Very sad
and I HATE drilling/modifying the dash

so I made a small stand out of some random parts and then got a large worm clamp and just made it. Wheel turns freely and its just perfect, visible and I still can see my clock (that doesnt work) and can see the speedo.

Make sure you attach the coil lead to the points side of the coil.

Well...you could always just get a big ole performance tach and sell that moderately rare Formula Vee tach to me!
Very Happy

Just sayin...

I just scored two formula vees. One of them has a black bezel and red pointer but is otherwise identical. I got them assuming they're both 4 cylinder tachs. If they're not I guess I'm screwed as they weren't particularly cheap.

Tracy: You could also head over to FormulaVee.org and wave one under their noses .. they are still quite active.
