Ghia Nut. Any chance you could post a picture of how you have your tach mounted. Is there a mounting cup and bracket. I have the same unit and just wondering. This thread and the links have been very helpful. Philip |

I could not find a mounting cup for this thing
and I HATE drilling/modifying the dash
so I made a small stand out of some random parts and then got a large worm clamp and just made it. Wheel turns freely and its just perfect, visible and I still can see my clock (that doesnt work) and can see the speedo.

Make sure you attach the coil lead to the points side of the coil. _________________ Happyasshell

Well...you could always just get a big ole performance tach and sell that moderately rare Formula Vee tach to me!

I just scored two formula vees. One of them has a black bezel and red pointer but is otherwise identical. I got them assuming they're both 4 cylinder tachs. If they're not I guess I'm screwed as they weren't particularly cheap. _________________ Check my classifieds for kewl gauges:

Tracy: You could also head over to FormulaVee.org and wave one under their noses .. they are still quite active.
