Got a lead about an old bus in a barn north of town so I went to check it out. It was a super dry, semi-dented 1970 non walk-thru from Washington. Someone cut a giant hole in the roof at some point in its life (it has factory belly pans), so I’ll have to figure out a solution for that, otherwise super solid! Has a brake booster, but still has 4-wheel drums, a combo I’ve never seen nor am I super familiar with.

Cool! Any evidence that it had a fiberglass high roof or pop top? The hole size looks close to that of an Adventurewagen conversion.

I definitely think it had a fiberglass roof of some sort. There’s evidence of screw holes where someone may have attached it. Also, it is a westy hookup on the side. Also has a real z-bed from an early bay westy.
I’m searching for a high-top, riviera, or sports mobile top for it. _________________ 68' Westy Weekender

Going after a ‘68 Double Cab in the morning. Hours away hoping it’s what I’m expecting.
On a side note, has anyone else noticed the m-code decoder website?! It seems to be down or inactive.
Trying to do what I can to decipher this little guy:
EDIT: Well it happened, after 11 hours in the truck yesterday, we came home with a '68 Doka.
Here are some teasers...
It has a couple spots needing attention but nothing major, a San Diego truck who lived most of it's life in Oklahoma, picked up in Mississippi and brought home to Arkansas. Excited to get this thing cleaned up. _________________ The Bus Barn Ltd. Co.

Nice find, Sam!
That is now in good hands, and I'm eager to see how you are going to revive it.
It kinda looks cool as it is. _________________ -Kent-

An old 69 westy with the back cutoff completely I'm trying to talk the owner into letting me get some parts from the front cab and motor compartment. MAYBE I can salvage the bed hinges. They seat was buried under leaves and crud.
