Here is my 71 in the UK.
Working on cleaning up the chassis (Removing underseal and repainting) and a few bits to finish in the engine bay like the canister hoses. Have the original radio to refit. General tidy up.
32k miles. Had a repaint in 92. Other than that is stock. Really happy with it. Drives great and body work is very clean. Even has original belts and floor pan tar boards.

Looks very straight, nice Ghia, I take it, it's Lemon Yellow.
My friend Dave's stock '72 Saturn Yellow/Black Karmann, RHD.

Hi,
Yes it's Lemon Yellow. Wasn't my first choice of colour but I'm getting into it now. I was thinking of a black roof too like the 72 in the picture (Very Nice!) but am going to keep it as it is for now.
Cheers |

I picked up this 58' a few weeks ago. My plan is to tackle the rough areas and and get it on the road.

It's not as bad as the photo suggests. It came with most of the parts. If I really went at it it could be on the road in a couple of weeks. Right now I'm finishing up a 56' beetle for my wife and trying to get a 61' out the door to make room. So the Ghia will have to wait a while. |

Here is my 1970 coupe. I am the second owner, bought it in 1983, from a little old lady who was a customer at my dad's gas station. Was originally a white auto stick, I had it repainted and put a 4 speed in it. She has been a garage queen for about 20 years, and I am now driving hernagain. Had the carb rebuilt, put in a SVDA distributor, and am sorting the brakes. I forgot how low they are even stock, with all the big SUVS on the road.

Finally got me a Ghia! 1972 cabriolet all stock, engine SN and body SN do not match. It has a bad paint job and an even worse bondo job, but not much rust! Great project car!

Hello,
New member here with a new to me 1969 Karmann Ghia. I'm the 3rd owner and couldn't be happier! I'm in Canada so the car will go into winter storage soon, I intend to drive it as often as possible before then.

Welcome to the club! Beautiful Ghia, enjoy driving it while you can. Add more pics if you take them at unique locations specific to your area so we can enjoy with you!

This is my Barn Find. It's been sitting in a Pole Barn with an old canvas over it for 30 years. It's now in my garage. This is my first Volkswagen and my first restoration.

What an Awesome find!!! I need to get out into the country and start scouring all those farms around me looking for some of these survivors...Who knows, may even find a Single Cab or an old convertible bug!
Thanks for posting pics, you definitely scored!
