Charley, where did you get that floor console? |
Hi Paul, good eye. I modified a KGPR console: cut the end off, cut again at the drop-off behind the cup holder, then attached the end behind the cup holder. I used a heat gun for shaping, soldering pencil for plastic welding, epoxy for filling, then sanded and touched up with rattle can paint. The seam is smoother than the surrounding textured console surface, but it doesn't stand out.

Wow, did you find that in Alaska, or is it from somewhere else? With no water to freeze, excellent traction, and the optional heater which gives out lots of instant heat, it should work well in Alaska! What are your plans... weekend toy, daily driver, show car?

Nice. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I hope you don't mind if I follow your lead...

Hi guys. I've been lurking around for a while so I thought I'd join, maybe post a picture and ask some questions. Yes, I know that some of the parts aren't correct for my '59, but I love her anyway. She has a bit of work left to do before she's roadworthy.

Went out to Hickam Tower in Pearl Harbor to see the lights and snapped a few Pics of Marilyn while I was there.
