I'm impressed with both. Cool

That’s quite the honor considering I just make the shit up as I go in both fields. Laughing
For what it’s worth, I started downloading pics to instagram under “the_ghiapet”.

I'm amazed. Your photography reflects someone with a lot of training. Obviously then it's a natural talent! The pictures are such that they keep me staring at them to make sure I don't miss any detail. I really think you could make an awesome Calendar with these pictures. The only problem would be picking just 12 photos!!

It's amazing how ominous a Crepe Myrtle looks in B&W. I was making a U-turn when I saw the low fence, then it's proximity to the Crepe myrtle. I wasn't even trying to get the car in the pic but I kept moving around the tree to use it to obscure a cable box (Barely visible just under the right edge of the tree.) and a guy-wire. The bright green modern stake (up the center of the car.) & telephone pole (Just to the right of the car.) is masked by converting the image to B&W.

I dunno. Their’s something more generally disturbing about the South in b&w:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/YsPV4qageTWRjFF58

That's because of how that image was altered &/or processed in B&W, Judging by the shadows, that was an extremely bright, sunny day, that image would be no where as ominous or moody in color.

Here's mine reverted back to original.

Certainly gives a totally different picture but I find them both equally beautiful pictures.

Again, THANK YOU! I have never taken any photography classes or , outside of some classes in middle school, any formal art classes. Most of these images that have been selected are single image of sometimes dozens from many different angles & viewpoints of the same scene.

With a riot as a strong possibility tonight, police were out in numbers & there was a steady stream of rollbacks & tow trucks clearing the streets of potential hiding spots & fire hazards.

Sad Crying or Very sad

History, despite it's wrenching pain, cannot be erased, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

Could someone school these idiots!!!

Until seeing this photo now and the way the shadows obscure the bottom half of the familiar nose, I never before realized just how similar the design of the Porsche 356 is to the Karmann Ghia when viewed head on.

Thank you sir. I hope all of my exploits & photo proof inspires everyone to go drive their VWs & share their adventures with the rest. Even the most mundane or derelict surroundings is enriched by the mere presence of a VW.

Indeed. One might even say that the number of Karmann Ghias there is approaching Titanic proportions!

I'm legal!!! After 8 months I finally got my plates and pulled it out of the back yard. She went on her first little excursion and I am grinning from ear to ear. I know it is not perfect, but IT IS MINE! Super Super Happy!
