Yup, just check the classifieds. That's where they usually end up.... for ~some~ reason. _________________ 1972 SquareBack.....recycled back to life......

Two splines up front
three splines now
you can see the top of wheel is about 3/4" closer to the top of fender well
each spine is around 3/4" drop so at 3 spines its about 2 1/4" drop _________________ Thornton |

It's trial and error, you can get an idea of how your car will look by looking at other cars, but the best way is to just do it. Then adjust according to your preference. There are two sets of splines, inner and outer, and the measurements. Therefore, if a car is lowered to inner splines it will sit at a different height than if it were lowered to outer splines. Also, torsion wear and tire size change the way the car sits, so keep that in mind. _________________ '68 Sunroof Squareback

Hey, I'm not a party pooper. I'm the one that is going to lower his car. I'm just trying to help the guy understand how there are several variables that give the car it's height. _________________ '68 Sunroof Squareback

oh hey guys, i dont plan on lowering it to much. im just thinking of lowering it 1 spline from the front because my car sags from the rear. so i pretty much want to even it out. and im thinking of putting some sprint star and i dont want to be worrying about rubbing. |
