but you had 25 year olds playing on the the little league team and got caught.

nahh. this is the east coast, not the west coast. east coast attitude is a different animal then west coast attitude when it comes to cars.

east!

any self respecting bus fan knows what "235" in the headlight bucket means on this 55 kombi and judging from the snow on the ground and it being 0* when i looked at this bus, you know it's on the east coast.

No one knows and no one seems to care is the answer to all your questions John.
At this point it should be where the picture was taken.

I care. I would like to see delivery port info AND where it is now, at least for the mcode buses. There was another thread that stated that various options only went to certain geographic areas and i would like to see if there are any trends.

I would imagine that there were more pre mcode buses on the east coast originally and because of that most have returned to earth naturally.

Do you mean port of entry on the m-code plate or port of entry on the window sticker? They're different for my bus...

also, where is the E/W dividing line, the mississippi river? i have plenty of pics of neat busses, but many of them fall in the middle somewhere.

The East/West dividing line could theoretically be the Mississippi, but this bus came from North of the Mississippi headwaters, but still in the US. It now resides in lovely Washington state.

Yes, this bus has already been posted twice. But I like it. It has a special place in my life.

As i said in an earlier post, i dont think anyone is trying to "divide" the USA.
Cause people from missouri, arkansas, iowa etc arent gonna say they are west or east. Like many they are in the middle. Im sure as well that some middle of the country people dont want to be from either coast.
So if this is gonna be a rust belt vs dry belt war then lets leave the middle stuff alone.
Yes there are some nice buses in the middle but the thread states in its title... that the COASTS are to be compared.

Good point. Agreed.

OK, now how much damage is this pic gonna do to the West's reputation?

I'm pretty much tapped out on the Barndoor content for the West Coast, time for a rum and Coke and I'll leave the beat down duties to some of my other fellow West Coast Team Members. Post some quality examples, preferably 1961 and earlier with special consideration for extraordinary later models and major community figures who boost our crusade. Make me proud!
