This issue must be handled many times, but I did not manage find any info.

I put new seals (made by EIS) for engine lid hinges, but can't get the line nicely. Is there any tricks to help?

It's hard to do and especially by yourself. I always wondered how well you can squish them and still get the hinge tight onto the lid. The originals or NOS ones are pretty stiff on the flat part with the two holes but the part that fits into the gap is still tricky as the tooling leaves a lot of flash. My best attempts were to have the seal slid on where its most like the final tighten by pressing the hinge tight with my fingers and then tighten one screw, check the fit, then tighten the other. Many retightens and readjustments. Keep you church key handy within reach, too, because if the lid slams shut with your fingers caught in the gap you won't be able to get to the front to get the opener. Unless someone is within earshot, your pretty well screwed. Just a warning. When the final tighten is done they seem to not squish out too much.

Put the hinges & seals on the decklid first, then bolt the whole setup on the bus. It's tricky to get them to lay perfectly flat, especially with the aftermarket seals.

I've noticed the aftermarket seals also "smear" black if you rub across them when washing or similar...once they're installed, try not to touch them (holds up fine in the rain, just not when rubbed)
