|
|
I am in the process of connecting fuel injection fuel lines from my motor to the steel lines going to the tank.
My question is which steel line is the "In" vs the "Out"(return to tank)?
I neglected to label which one is which (top vs bottom) when I removed them.
Thanks |

I'm no expert in the stock fuel injection lines, but would ask if one is bigger than the other? Usually the larger line flows to the injectors and the smaller line is the return line. |

Per Bentley..... The line with the filter is the tank outlet, this connects to the round end of the pump, the line then exits the flat end of the pump that the electric connector plugs too.

So on the tank it says
Tunnel:
Front -Feed
Rear - Return
So through the tunnel and out near the transmission and behind the firewall. Would that make the "Front - Feed" steel line on top and "Rear - return" on bottom? |

The line that emerges from the LH frame horn is the feed, the pump connects to it at the front, the return line is in the RH horn and goes directly to the tank. Have a helper blow on one line at the back while you identify which line is blowing up front. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Just stick a wire up in them. The return line dumps into the tank. The feed line bends to pick up gas at the bottom. If you wire goes all the way in, that is the return line.
Simple.
