Does anyone know a supplier of mod look or paisley vinyl, something like this, I tried all the Mopar guys but I don't think they quite understand the concept of replying to emails...

In a vinyl that's going to be hard to find anymore. Check some local fabric suppliers in your area. I did a quicky web search and found lots of "regular" paisley fabrics, but nothing outdoor quality. If all else fails, you could have a local sign guy do a wrap of the roof if you can provide a print sample.

Let me check with a friend who does auto upholstery. I want to have my roof done in that pattern as well.

I thought of a wrap but I really want the leather grain finish of vinyl.

I'm sure it's out there somewhere.

Thanks Louis, I don't think it'd take much, 2yds should be plenty unless it's really inexpensive then I'd get the seats done as well!!!

David, Whatever you are up to, it sounds interesting..

Maybe some patio furniture, or beach umbrella material?

They're one of the one's who didn't reply to my emails and I had no luck the time I tried to phone them. As you say I may have more luck if I try again as it was a few years ago.

Try calling these guys. They were supposed to be the one with the material.

What did Mopar offer that would have had material like that? Out of curiousity?

Try looking for marine vinyl. They stock it at the local fabric store; although not as funky as the picture you shown.

It has UV stabilizers added for outdoor use. I am going to make a bikini top for my buggy - the woman at the store looked at me odd when I said it was for a bikini. I tried explaining, but only dug deeper - when will I learn to keep quiet?

David,

No joy on the vinyl. My friend suggested getting some cloth and coating it with a clear varnish. Not sure how that would work though.

I would have to order 1000 yards minimum and it would be to expensive these days. We worked on getting it made a couple years ago.

I'll bet that if you supplied the base colored marine grade vinyl that these folks http://www.polysigns.co.uk/inkjet_printing.html
could produce just what you need.

Thanks for all the ideas. I've had some horendous prices for custom printed stuff, so I can't get hold of some original stuff I probably won't bother.
