Reminds me of this one a bit a small car with a big motor is my favorite.

I'm getting my motor ready, and I've hit a snag. I am missing the two small metal hoses that attach to the thermostat housing. Could anyone give me some sizes for them? The Subaru dealer here says I have to buy a complete bottom end for them. They are not available any other way. I say fuck that! I'm going to try to find some copper line to fit in there.

Ok, so today went real well! I remembered to bring all my tools and all my parts to the shop with me, and I found some silicone, too!
I have completed the first page of tasks, and I eagerly await the next list.
Photos:
One of the muffler brackets fitted. ( Icouldn't find the right bolts/ spacers for the other side)

The thermostat housing collar,

Changed the angle of the heat exchanger,

The new oilpan, with the new pick-up screen installed,

And I found this random wire cut:

It sucks having only Sunday and Monday for this. Whats worst is that everything is closed here on Sunday!

I believe that's the oil pan from Burley ... I remember seeing some CAD drawings, but have not yet seen the complete product.

Relooking at the pics I see there is more room on the oil pan than the EJ engines. That EZ engine is looking sweet!!

Make no mistake, You did see the CAD drawing of the 6qt modular oil pan/mount on Burley's website. We have several versions.Currently the 4 cyl model is in stock and selling superbly. More versions later this year, including a 3.0 H6 914 kit.
