I have the tube powdercated and mocked it up and then I saw a picture of another build with black wires and loved the look without tube. Plus it is somewhat different and old school So at this point i am leaving tube off and hope others like the look as i do. Sometimes i do things and then later say to myself what were u thinking!!!!!!!!

The other is the supply that leaves the Fram filter it is straight and long you have to decide where to cut the excess and how to make your bends for looks and alignment/fitment . It is a 6mm pure copper line very easy to cut and bend.

I can provide you with a matching short length of blue-striped steel-braided German hose to solder onto your cut-off copper Okrasa-style oil cooler return line. This is how I'm supplying the kits that I will be selling soon. It looks nice, correct and is easier to deal with than a long length of copper tubing to the distributor bolt oil return fitting. I can also supply the fittings, swivel nuts and cut-rings for the case and Fram filter fittings.

Yes, I have the single orange stripe hose now, and can make custom lengths (and single blue stripe for additional $). I have some sets of fittings available now, also. I have also found some matching compression unions to eliminate the need for soldering the oil cooler to the hose feed and return sections. These can be hidden behind the fan housing if you don't want them to be visible. These unions will also allow you to disassemble the pieces easily if needed.

The retainers were custom made by the head porter.

Cheers,

What type/year Jaguar dual springs? Can you provide a link to where they can be purchased?

I got mine from World Pac in Vancouver. Jaguar 6 cylinder engines used the same vale springs from the 50's to the mid 80's.I checked with the dealership 1st .The springs were well priced about $35.00 Can. I did have to clearance the seat base on the okrasa head about 1 mm.

In the next few days i will post some Pics of the engine detail. Like i mentioned i ended up restoring a Fram Bypass Filter. Here is a picture of the finished product. This was powder coated. This filter is 100% functional even though i am using a full flow filter system.

I was thinking the same thing with the full flow and the bypass. Use the bypass filter for xtra oil instead of a sump.
I am also considering a doghouse out back.
Thanks for all your picts which inspire me to keep pushing forward.

Do you put the Cart before the Horse or the Horse before the Cart. Its always a debate of what to work on. Over the weekend i installed the 1/4 windows and the Oval window. I had done the oval window before but removed it to fix a piece of headliner. I rolled the 57 outside to pick up some heat from the Sun to help with the install. This is the first time its been out of the garage since i started the restoration. I was able to do all three windows without help. I used a window suction cup from Harbor Freight it had amazing suction. Some weed eater string/cord and spray silicone to get it done. Putting the gaskets on the windows and then the chrome into the gaskets was a bear for me. I was thinking that since i had done the windshield before it would make things easy but it is hard no matter what.
The 57 is getting close. The Carpet and some odd and ends is all that remains. The Wife just had to have a picture

Fantastic work,I'm Impressed. The car really likes getting out of the garage. May the home stretch be short.

Thanks for the positive comments!
Here is a picture of the full flow Denzel oil filter cover from underneath. The Denzel cover puts oil lines in psoition to allow you to route the lines above the sheet metal sleds and below the header.

I spent some time trying to decide exactly where I wanted to locate the Full Flow filter. I wanted a location where I could hide the oil lines as much as possible. I wanted it in a place that was easy to access and easy to change the filter + I wanted it in a vertical position so when you do service it you will have less spillage.
I found a spot above and to the right side of the driver side heater box. I made a bracket out of aluminum to hold the JayCee filter adapter. It is bolted thru the bottom of the luggage shelf and holds the filter adapter very solid.
The heater hose fits right in with no modifications
