Nothing against you, but I hope you don't sell it! Hopefully something comes your way to help through your financial situation. Maybe I'm just being selfish, but I'd sure like to see what your finished product looks like, no matter how long it takes you.

Dave

Nothing selfish about that Dave! I appreciate your words and hope for the same things. Thank you.

There hasn't been any interest in the car other than the one guy that sent me a couple of text messages. I refuse to go any lower on the price. I feel that it's beyond a fair price for what is there. If it doesn't sell, I guess I will take the advice given here and put it in the corner with a cover over it. Maybe this is a sign or something.... Laughing

I cringe every time I go to open my email and feel better when there's nothing about the car.

I feel the price is very low.

My wife and I had a lengthy conversation about this last night. It looks like there may be some relief in sight and neither one of us are wanting to let the car go. I'm placing the ad and the sale of the car on hold for now to see how that ends up. We will hang in there as long as we can. I will update you all on how this plays out. Thanks again.

I no sooner reactivated the ad and something pretty major shook loose.

I am VERY happy to say that the car is no longer for sale. Very Happy

This is great news Greg. Too much of your (and the family's!) heart has gone into it to let it go now.

I wish you the very best for the project.

I've been a lurker on The Samba for many years and I am working on a 63 myself, this build by far has been one of my favorites and inspired several things on my own build. I'm very glad to see you able to keep going on it
