Wow starting bid at 2500 bucks?? That`s as much as they can hope getting I think.... |
2500 is only the starting bid of course, and then you'll have to "Fight off the frenzied bidding action!"
Best to avoid all that and use the buy-it-now for the 3500. _________________ One of these days I'm gonna settle down,

3500 for complete camper gear, pop top and arguably decent running motor and transmission!
That fish will be out there. _________________ .ssS! |

The way it's reported, it sounds like a battery short.
Curious to know what was mounted under the seat.

Goodness. Sorry to hear that, Joseph. Unfortunately, $5,900 for a burnt camper seems like too much to pay.

Owner blamed it on rodents chewing the fuel tube, has anyone ever heard that one? _________________ Vanagon ’83 diesel AAZ w/Giles injection, 5spd 4.57R&P+TBD and a '78 diesel Rabbit |

It's believable but unverifiable, of course. I just replaced my spark plug wires because all the rubber was chewed up by rodents. I didn't think it was a big deal until I got shocked through one of the tooth marks. _________________ '87 Syncro

We've had trouble with squirrels chewing the rubber parts of my wife's car - they shredded the hood liner completely!
Thankfully, they don't find the Westy parked next to it nearly as tasty!! _________________ '84 Vanagon GL 1.9 WBX

This little furry buddy didn't get the chance to do any real damage- It died where it laid....So no fire starting for it, just foam engine noise insulation under the cover....
Lord knows how many weeks or months it was sitting on top of this engine before I rudely disturbed its resting place last week at work. It DID give me a surprise finding it, was not expecting it at all.....

Is your wifes car a VW? I have 2 mk4's and they get above the hoodliner when it starts getting cold out. |

We had trouble with my Moms Golf in Laguna.
Peppermint oil worked to keep them out, in small baskets _________________ .ssS! |
