Ran across this piece today. A price sheet we used in the unit room to write estimates on customers engines, back in the late 60's early 70's.
Note the 36hp prices.

I rebuilt a 40 horse in 1972 and those prices look awfully familiar. The local parts guy convinced me to spring for the extra $7 for the 83 mm Repco Big Bore P&Cs. That was good advice. _________________ Larry in OB

I did time in the unit room in the mid seventies. The other line mechanics called it the "Eunuch room". Your list brings back old memories . |

And the rock and roll. You just had to dodge the occasional piston the other guy was throwing past you into the empty 30 gallon 90wt barrel that now functioned as the aluminum recycle bin |
