I suspected that, reported them to ebay as a scam listing.
Kind of funny that they think they can fool people.

The eBay account may be legit, but could have been hijacked by someone else to post the bogus listing. It happens fairly often. |

Not sure about cashiers checks, but postal money orders are cashed by whoever shows up with them.
