|
|
I have been looking for a header for my '56 Baja and cannot find what I want and thought I may get suggestions from you guys here.
I have a set of high flow 1 5/8 heater boxes I want to run to get a little heat when it gets in the 40's and it is still nice to drive the Baja. The problem I am having is I cannot locate a good header for the Baja that is also 1 5/8 to match. I want to run a muffler to quite it down somewhat.
I will be running a 2165 (78 X 94) with 41 X 37 valves, FK7 cam, 1.4 rockers, 40 mm DRLA's and at a static compression of 7.98:1. This will be going into a RGB trans with 32 11.50 tires on the rear, so to run 65 to 68 MPH I will be turning around 3300 RPM and need a header that will flow the engine.
Any suggestions of where to find such a header?

Looks like it was painted with a live chicken, polished with a brick and buffed with a pine cone |
