Hello
Is there anybody out there that knows what the four black steel pieces on the outriggers are?
Also interested in what the three black steel pieces next to the central frame are.

This is the way all three chassis were built. It is very similar to a proposal for the very first V Beetle Prototypes. The x structure is already part of the body. The construction concept of the body is a mixture between the method used at beetle and the Porsche 356.

Five!
I've read something I didn't know, the first one was wrecked by someone at VW, and they built the #3 (that green/gray one)? I've always thought there were 3 separated cars, but that being not the case, we now have ALL the 60K10 that ever where in existance? Cool! |

That would be the chance for a Volkswagen to become Car of the Year!!!
Please tell your friends!
Many thanks!

OK, I voted for you.
But if you win, you must take me for a drive in your car! _________________ ( ⫏ ⫐ )

That's not chrome, that's white Hawaii rubber (remember the 80's). Mr. P. was ahead of the time, along with one piece windows.

with one of the wild 25/36hp motors you have in your collection, this car could cause quite a stir in the Land Speed Racing 36hp challange.
beautiful is good, but beautiful with a race pedigree is even better.
these cars were designed and built to race
edit. even with the current motor or a purpose built super stock 36 hp i'm sure you would have a lot of fun and probably get some good numbers in such a clean car. |
