Do the old plates here not interest you? Black wouldn't look too bad on there. _________________ www.vwnos.com [email protected]

From what I've seen original Texas plates from 1960 were white with black lettering, so these plates actually fit the car better than the black with white lettering. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |

My reference must have them mixed up. I saw black with white lettering. Those are my favorite. Since my 63 is actually a 64 I might be able to get them for that one. _________________ www.vwnos.com [email protected]

Did a parts run to east Portland this morning. 50miles round trip.
Stopped at the grocery and stocked up on dented canned goods and shit.
Came back to the parking lot and spied a dude snapping pics of my car.
Kind of flattering The guy seemed cool and asked a few of the usual questions. I happily answered.
Opened the engine compartment and he snapped a few more pics. Said he used to have a 66 and really missed that car. Don't we all after we part ways?
Anyway, You should have seen the parking job that the POS Honda did next to me. Damn near sideways between the lines and very tight to the drivers side of my car. Some folks just should not drive.
Have a great weekend.
P.S. C.A.G. I'm glad I'm not the only one that drives their car weather be damned. You give hope for the VW community. _________________ I have learned over the years.

To be fair we have perfect weather here for 10-11 months out of the year, but I do daily the car regardless. Little water never hurt nothing. Hell I don’t even run wipers. Little Rain-X once a week and I’m good to go _________________ 2015 VW Passat Wolfsburg Edition

Not "daily" but Wintertime in FL I drive my bugs 5-6 days a week. Summer heat and humidity ...not so much. I love driving them every chance I get this time of year though!!! Keeps a lot of miles of my truck. |

I love your car!!! The color is striking (I'm a big fan of green, especially lighter shades) and the name Inga is cool (my daughter's favorite stuffed animal when she was little was named Inga). I never knew where she came up with that name at such a very young age, but I've always loved it.
The fact that you keep it on the road daily just makes it even more special. |

Nice car. It’s fun being spoiled in California huh? I almost feel bad for all these guys with snow and salt on their roads. _________________ 2015 VW Passat Wolfsburg Edition
