I'm missing one for a 67' bus that i'm putting back together:
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=649294&highlight=pedros
I see one for sale by Wolfsburg West but its up to 66' only .
what's the difference ?
I'm guessing 67' buses don't have them but rely on the bushing at the end of the rod that goes in to the chassis?
and if I need one where can I find one? |

The VW parts manual is great for this kind of stuff.
http://www.oacdp.org/
Section 7 hand and foot controls is what you want.
Once you have the bushing part number you can enter that in the WW search engine. Do not leave the three spaces in the part number though.
If sometime you need another part and WW does not work, try a WWW search. Then add VW a space and the nine digit part together for that. Just the part number and you will get a lot of random results. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |

only shows a bushing at the end of shift rod for 67' nothing for the bracket used on 66' and older. I'm guessing no bracket it used, since a pin comes from the chassis. |

Doesn't have one but you need '66-'67 front rod and '66-'67 shifter and the bushing with the pin still intact on your bus.

You can use the early one with the corresponding bracket and slider sleeve but you need the earlier shifter if and remove your pin. |
