If you are going to do it, have adjusters installed. Pulling torsions is not good for the car. Turns it into a piece of junk quick trust me (been there done that) also, dropped spindles, not cheap but worth the dough. Adjusters are pretty cheap, its just having someone or yourself weld them in. |

What can you do to lower the back? I know you can put adjusters, and lower spindles, but what happens in the back? |

I just dropped my bug. In the back I went down 2 splines and in the front I welded in beam adjusters (very easy to do if you have the right equipment) also very cheap. I am also adding drop spindles. Good luck with yours. |

How easy is to raise the rear end after it's been lowered? Is it just the reverse of the lowering process? |

It's the reverse. Here is a link with great instructions for doing the rear. One inside notch is quite a lot on a swingaxle bug. Think twice about going down more unless the knock-kneed look doesn't bother you.

Good luck, be careful.
