Yes
I have searched (keyword: rear tire carrier and tire carrier) went through 211 posts and saw several mentions of using a Bronco, I assume Bronco II tire carrier.
However I was unable to locate even one picture of the installation and finished product .... on a Vanagon of course.
I also noticed a comment to the effect that such a carrier could or does (?) interferes with the sliding door I just can't visualize said interference however perhaps the OP could elaborate.
If anyone has performed this operation I would greatly appreciate pictures and comments.
Thanks
nb. Yes I did notice the Jeep, Sportage and other solutions, however I am only interested in something holding a 14 or 15" wheel. Nothing else. If I wanted to carry the impedimenta of war I would get a M35.
I also saw the Gary Lee carrier which is terrific however I am just a poor country boy living in the suburbs and cannot resolve myself to spend this kind of moola, mullah ...... _________________ LG aka VisPacemPB, *The* party Pooper
