I'm trying to find a source for this headliner trim I have in my 1980 Westfalia Vanagon. I've checked Go Westy, NLA VW,and all the other VW vendors I know of and can't find it. I have about a 4 foot section of it that came out of my van, but would like to wrap it all the way around the pop top to the back. You can see in one of the photos how nicely it clasps onto the metal trim and then holds in the wood headliner I made.

Does anyone know if it's available and where?:

Similar PVC edge trims with lip seal can be bought by metre.
But not found any webshops selling them yet.

this type of edge trim is often used in boats. maybe take a look thru the marine and or RV industry catalogs
may very well be in Graingers expansive catalog as well.
once you can nail down what it's actually referred to in the 'industry' then you may be able to find it via Ebay..

I would contact Trim-Lok. I quickly looked through their catalog and saw similar parts but not he exact profile. Maybe try sending them a picture.

If you find a source be sure to post it up. I’ve been casually looking for some for my pop-top conversion myself. I believe the same trim is used in later years as well, but only around the front of the pop-top opening.

Did you have any luck finding some? I'm also looking for some as well.

YES! But it's only in black:

It's a perfect fit and high quality. I'll get some detailed photos of it later.

I tried a flexible upholstery paint test, but it flaked badly when I barely flexed it.

Here's the only pic at the moment:

Also put in bluetooth LED party strip lights!:
