I think it is beyond doubt that something has been done to this truck in order to alter the VIN.

But a lot of things indicates that the truck actually started out as one of the 33 genuine 16 inch sikas...

I will investigate the vin swap idea more once its off the flatbed trailer... and i will look more closely at the vin tag.
BTW, the door post was damaged recently by a forklift at the scrap yard, they bent the door and this in turn bent the door mounting flange. I removed the doors |

2 new in register.
Now we have 26 in the register.

The red one on the trailer is now confirmed it is a 16" single cab.
Still miss the VIN number.
From Austria
And 1 new white 1992 from Austria i have pictures on it.
But Iam waiting on permission to show the pictures.

The white one without the cab do i not know anything about.
The last one that now was confirmed that it was an 16" is this red on the trailer.

| Yes it is a genuine 16" Sinka. It was bamboo yellow and had a MV engine. Unfortunately the second owner put in an TDI engine, and painted it in this horrible color. |

Do you know how the owner was then?
I want more proof soo i know itīs an real 16" if you have?

That bronze sika is very nice, and has always been one of my favourite VW pickups. However, I wonder why the 16 inch wheels M-code isnt on the birth certificate... or maybe there is another page he isnt showing? (My syncro had a two page birth certificate by the way).

I may be wrong, but I thought all the 16" petrol engines were DJ code 112h.p. This one came with the MV 95 pony motor from the factory.
