I've just found this one on a forum in Norway (I think!)... haven't managed to translate any of it but it looks like the owner is seriously into his vanagons!!

Hi,

In Holland I know about 4 syncro 16" Single cabs. Including the green one in a terrible state on the pic.

In Sweden I know about 5 Sika's sold off which I own one.
2 are owned by the same guy as Patrick wrote and one is scrapped in 2003.

Ok, just putting photos to the original Syncro 16 Single Cabs mentioned above:

The Beige one has been rebuilt and is pictured on page 1 of this thread.

I'm wondering if the green one is either CJs or Lars which has since been sold as the post on the forum was January 2010?

Hi

The green one on the last pic is def not the one which CJ has rebuild. The one from CJ had originaly a westfalia loading bed and he bought it via Mike where he also removed the Westfalia bed.

This green one is def. from Lars but don't know what happend to it.

I´m the one that has two of these guys at home Shocked

They are white, har servosteering, double difflocks and Webasto-heaters

One in baaad condition, and one that looks rather nice.

I saw fleets of them while in Brunei, SE Asia. VW must have sold them by the dozen to the national oil company or something. They were all 4WD and diesel...
Wished I could have brought one back.
