Where can I buy a barndoor decklid seal/rubber?

Or will I have to buy the seal material by the length so I can make my own? found something very similar.

Is it the same profile as later split bus? and what color should it be on a panelvan? grey? or black?

What is the material its made of called? I have found some suppliers that will sell what looks similar on a roll. just waiting on a sample.

thanks

I used the same stuff people sell for the 55-63 rear hatch.

It's grey, square profile and from West Coast Metric I believe.

I believe all Barndoors used grey? If not, it's a year-to-year thing and not a Panelvan/Kombi/Standard/Deluxe difference.

seems we could be talking about 2 different items?

1) The decklid>body seal

Thanks for the heads up Ben (low54), will get some of that for my dash pod.

but yes different rubber seal Smile I have sourced the foam/rubber seal for the decklid/body but it is black, although it is loads cheaper.
just waiting on the sample.

May end up just doing what EverettB suggested if I cannot get in grey.
