Is there a simple picture book with not a ton of text that shows each model year ? I have seen them at the book store for mustangs but never the beetle.

If you're after pictures without a lot of text, you would probably like the book Volkswagen Bug! The Peoples Car by Ray Miller.
It has page after page of all the more obvious changes from year to year. If I remember, it seems to be based off Euro models, as his changes do not always correspond with the US model year.
Any other thoughts?
