This cable cover is available at Thingparts.com.
Which direction does the cover go on? The grommets at the latch end or the top end?
Also, what goes around the grommets? I assume something that holds it up and in place.

The (grommetted) area goes into the glove box
Not at the lower hood lock
There are several metal tabs that hold on to the tubing along the inside of the body trunk
It is also routed underneath the fuel filler neck
Theres a picture on the “smell kit”ad that might clarify
