I haven't seen many pictures of padded roll bars here. My question is what do most people tape their padding up with? Duct tape falls apart and some electrical tape shrinks and leaves gummy yuck.

I don't use tape, zip ties and those nylon webbing handles that wrap arround with velcro. I got those from desert rat because I could hold them in my hands first, but you can get them online too. Most racing or 4x4 places have something that will work.

You can buy tape made for roll bars, like this one http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Vinyl_Roll_Bar_Padding_Tape_3in/Roll_Bars but I don't like the look any way.

There are companies that make velcro covers like they use in Jeeps in different sizes, and just about any upholstery shop or canvas shop could make some. Pro Comp makes one that is 50" long by 3" that comes in a few colors that you can get at summit racing and I am sure other places http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EXP-12505/

The Rapz works great for covering padding and tubing.
