I've got money down on a 64 delux walkthrough, 21 window. It's pretty clean, some rust but not super heavy. Has a running 1600 cc. glass is good.
Interior is shot. No major crashes, but some smaller dents on both back corners.
Any idea what something like this would be worth? I know hard to tell without pictures, but give it your best shot.
thanks |

Engine is running, but is the bus driveable? Current tags, etc.? Has it been a runner, or has it been someone else's project bus that's now yours. These things certainly change my opinion of value on any bus that isn't especially rare. |

Have you actually read anything in these forums? Rand, this is what your post actually sounds like here:
"Hey guys and gals, but I just bought a 19 - sixties blah, blah, blah ... with so on and so forth and then some accessories and I want to flip it ... how much can I get for it? ... no pictures yet, I'm ... A) a redneck, B) don't own a camera, C) don't own a phone with a camera , D) B and C above or E) all the above ..."
Your post is a mess ... I'm just saying what others might be willing tae say, but haven't yet ... If you want, you could just post it tae the classifieds at a few hundred more than you paid, tae see if there are any takers ... otherwise, do your homework, look around ... get a feel for what you have is worth and what you are willing to dae to part with it.
99% of us are more interested in what it feels like to roll that breadloaf down the highway at 48/52/55 mph ...
Flipping is so passé ... _________________ His - 'Rosie' - '64 Westy

Don't listen to him!
I'll trade you straight up for my '71. It's solid, newer, disk brakes in the front, no major crashes either, no gaping blind spot in the windshield, and no engine, so you won't have to worry about speeding tickets. _________________ Jake

Just spend a few hours studying classifieds, rants, etc. on this site and you'll get a better idea of what you are doing. Even if you had pictures, you should be able to form your own opinion of its value before you drop any cash on it. It's a pretty big chunk of change to not do the proper research... _________________ '63 23 Daily Driver

Man. The folks on the samba are TESTY today. I think that panel find really unnerved a few folks. Let's be cool.
Depending on condition your bus could be worth anywhere from $400-$40,000. Congrats. Let's see some pics...and we can really start pricing some details. _________________ "Come on over...and we can work on it together." |
