hi guys i purchase a set of early motometer gages for my 55 oval i need the panel for them but how would i find out if is original or repro ?? let me know if some could help thank you.

The panel you are talking about is being reproduced I believe check the classifieds

They look the same from the front............I doubt you could tell if it was a repro once it was mounted in the dash.

The vast majority of the available panels seem to be repros. Patina can be faked, but if it has patina it's not likely it's a repro. Avoid spending extra money for an "original" panel if it's sight unseen though.

Do the repro's have the screw plates for the wiring blocks on them?
