I'm gonna set it up like Adrenaline Junky did his, behind the motor. There is a Quad 4 Baja with the Radiator up front like that around here, I just don't want it there. He ran the coolant lines down through the Tunnel, actually pretty slick the way he set it up. Thanks for the Pic though |

Conversion looks good. Could you do me a favor and measure from the tranny and or end of the frame horns to the front of the motor? I am building my rear cage now. I have a VW at the moment but want to make sure an ecotec will fit later down the line. Thanks. |
Porboy from the The Bell Housing to the end of the Crankshaft (Balancer) is 21.5 " . This Measurement includes the adapter. Hope this helps you out some. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/rdm.ecotecs/ |

Just Got the car back from Dan Baudoux Motorsports tonight. Motor cage is done.
He Put a X Brace in the rear added to the Existing Cage. Bar behind the seat for support and to hook the harnesses to and another bar in the windshield area with a /\ going from top to bottom.

Any Progress on your car ED? |
This is some of the work we got done to our ecotec, we got the front end almost all done, not shown is the front shocks in double shear, we need to mount the steering stabilizer, and the tire carrier. Had to leave to move my daughters stuff to an area near San Francisco in my boys toy hauler, After next week we will pull the motor and start the 3x3 arm and conversion to IRS.
First time on the ground in a while. so it is moving along but a lot of work to go, some of it is slowed because of the delay on getting parts. and selling some stuff on the property for some extra funds thanks for asking your is looking great ED |

Looking good Ed. I always like to look @ other peoples stuff for ideas and some motivation and even inspiration sometimes. Thinking long and hard about my front end. I wanna stretch it and go coilover. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/rdm.ecotecs/ |

Let me know when you are getting ready to stretch the front, it really makes a difference on the whoops. I will help you with the start and some pitfalls we learned about. I have to say my boys sure works great in the whoops with speed. ED |

Selling Beam/rack mount 4 SAW adjusters, Swat Away leafs, lower supports that go to the pan, arms and Shocks in the Offroad Parts Classifieds. Will mount into a Baja or a rail. Going for it.

@this point running the idiot light. I can ask my guy how to do it if you want. |
sure. I would like to get the information from the obd port but not sure of the all the wiring, that was stuff that came with the motor, the wiring harness and the computer flashed for this vehicle, I do have the name of the wiring company. may have to contact them and learn more on the harness. Thanks ED |

There's only 2 wires that go from the harness to the OBD2 port. On mine, I'm going to run the OBD2 port to the dash, then get a plug in monitor setup. You can get a touch screen one that lets you configure what info you want shown for a few hundred bucks. For $600, you can get one with a backup camera input which will be nice when I'm strapped into my rail and need to see behind me. _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"
