Well, if it has to be 25 years old then this one just qualifies:
I bought a house in 1986 just down the street from my father which was where I was storing my car. I got a couple of buddies to help me push it down the lane about a block to my new house. Technically the picture doesn't turn 25 until November but I thought I could stretch it a little.
Here is a 1955 Canadian custom. This was my fathers boss at the mattress factory. They had gone to Lac Du Bonnet fishing one summer day in 1961:
Notice how the wheel centers are darker than the wheel outers, this should give a clue as to what colour the car was.

I think even in '55, Canadian Customs would have had turn signals and not semaphores.
Another mystery. _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.

Thanks to Everett for loading a photo from August 1967 of an accident on the 15in gauge Romney Hythe&Dymchurch Railway. The locomotive No;5 Hercules (4-8-2)driver Jim Brodie was knocked out on a sheep bridge, hence why the train didn't stop in the terminus station at Hythe Kent. |

That little bitty train looks like something from a carnival. _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.

That itty bitty train was first started by two well known racing drivers of the 1920's-Count Louis Zborowski and Capt.Howey.......
Zborowski being famous for racing Chitty Bang car's,later written about by Ian Fleming-thus becoming the film Chitty Chitty Ban Bang. |
