Show off your pics of original paint Baywindows.

Absolutely NO REPAINTS even if it is a factory color.

Post info on the bus as well if you have it.

Touch ups are ok.

Patina is ok.

Let's see 'em!!![/b]

Here ya go.

Picked my bus up last summer from the original owner. Complete and original condition. Needs some cosmetic TLC but it's solid and 99% rust-free.

She'll be getting a new coat in the near future. The S. Florida moisture is wreaking havoc on this old desert bus.

Been told this is OG paint (looks it to me), but recently a car painter by trade caused me to doubt....said it was in too good of condition in places for age. Is there a definitive way to tell? Still Newish to Bays, so forgive any naivety

The rear corners not viewable in the photo need work (one pulled out, and the other has some bondo), so I may get those sections fixed up and resprayed at some point)

Daytona Beach a couple weeks ago. This bus has a mint , complete interior, original FI engine runs awesome, drives like new, and was headed for the crusher when I found it on CL.

Is that Neptune blue ^^^^

Looks like it should clean up pretty well!

By the end of the summer I hope to have my single cab back to original Neptune blue. There's one light respray and the original paint is showing through everywhere!

Yes, Neptune blue. One of my favorite VW colors, and I'm not really a "blue" guy.
