I have a 72 baja with a mostly stock 1600, recently rebuilt and has an oil cooler. my oil pressure at warm idle is around 20psi, when throttling up though it climbs to around 70psi. Is this normal? outside temp is in the 80's. |

You forgot to add a smiley face to let everyone know that you know that some company has been making them for close to 50 years. Like this: Adjustable spring plates, I'm surprised no one is already making those...
http://www.swayaway.com/products/product-detail/id...adjustable
Sway-A-Way doesn't do a good job of advertising their products at their webpage. They don't show a pic of their spring plates anywhere that I could find it.
Does any other company make them? |

I'm too cheap to buy adjustable spring plates, it costs me nothing but my time to pull it apart and re-index it. Longer for more toe adjustment is something I could do with though. _________________ 1958 Karmann Ghia owner |

I bought some 100$ ones once from so-cal. They were so cheap I threw them away. Even the steel itself was poor quality, so I elected not even use them as raw materials.....
While I don't agree with some of this guys claims I will tell you the atomworks springplates are made of very good steel. |

Since we are talking about proper adjustable spring plate design I figure it is just easier to see for yourselves. There's a lot more to it than can be seen at first glance:

Could you supply us with another photo; oh, let's say a view of the model that would include about 18 inches above the top edge of the following photo and 18 inches below the bottom edge? Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated!

I think the atomwerks product line speaks for itself, and some things are best when left up to the imagination.
But,.......
I wouldnt complain either. |

but, but, butt she didnt drop any plates???
my ellchepo$100 adjustable plates have been in use for.....13 years?( possiably the only thing I got from cip1 that was worth a shit) still going strong.although they do need triming at the end that go's around the dog's leg so the toe can be adjusted via the slots in the arm. I dont know what I will use on my 356 as it will be somewhat lower than my bug and a lot more power. |

49 pages of you A--holes arguing like a couple kids on the schoolyard and what did you accomplish - not a hell of a lot as far as I can see. one thing for sure though , I like the shape of her springplates ! lol For the good of the hobby can't we all just get along. |
