Machinist buddy of mine is going to make me a deluxe main seal install tool. I am looking for measurements off of one. Thanks...

Hi Glenn! Hey how is that Sun Distributor Machine working I sold ya?
That steak dinner offer still on the table?
..or maybe just 0.160" of it?

I use it daily... sure, anytime you're on Long Island.

The one I made is; 3.5 o.d. .55 thick, hole thru is 1.14, recess is 2.18 i.d., .34 deep, It was made from tool steel and heat treated, when I sent out other stuff for a real job, have to pay a minimum anyway.
I use a soft blow hammer for seals often also, don't always put in VW seals!
