carb advice needed!!

I obtained a '74 automatic with a single [ict 34 carb. it had not run in five years. I got it running, adjusted valves, and it idles great until it warms up a bit. when i give it gas it will accelerate fine, but when you let off the throttle you can hear a sucking (vacum) noise coming from the carb and it wants o die out.

contemplating switching it back to dual carbs however it is no longer set up for such, nor do I have the original parts/ carbs to do so.

Any suggestions?!?!

Can you get a picture of your current configuration?

Engine/intake/carb etc
from a few different angles? This single weber ICT 34 configuration your saying you are running escapes me...

I have been trying to load the pictures to the gallery but they are to large. I could e-mail them If you want me to. It definately took someone some work to set this one up the way it is. They have a home made adapter plate and are using another manufactured two bolt adapter on top of that.
