I am not sure on that, outrun--let me do some checking. Definitely no rush, though. They have not even come out with their printed flyers yet (that's probably a good thing to wait for, I'd say, to make sure you're using the correct form); they usually give me a big supply of flyers to hand out at shows (I am not a member of the organizing club--just a supporter), and I have not received mine yet. I will do my best to let you know when I get them in, though--and also post that info here.
Thanks for your interest, outrun--I think this year's Time Machines show will be an especially fun time for us VW folks! _________________ Stock Steve

Here are some scans of the official flyer for Time Machines 2011--as you can see, "VOLKSWAGEN" is indeed this year's Featured Marque! Everything that you need to know is there, and you can print out pages if you want to pre-register (note the overlap between the top and bottom halves of the main flyer page--the piece of paper was too big to scan in one shot on my scanner--sorry).
Also please note that, per the "Show Car Classes 2011" scan, the VWs THIS YEAR are broken up into stock & modified divisions (normally we have stock & modified all together in one class)--but not to worry, as the "Featured Marque," we'll all be together in the same area of the show field--should be great!
If anyone would like me to *snail mail* you one of the *actual flyers*, please PM me with your snail mail address, and I would be glad to send one right out to you (or, outrun, since you're local, I could perhaps even drive someplace to meet you and hand you one in person--oh, and I also dropped some off at Cardone & Daughter Automotive in Westbrook, on Thursday of this week, so you or anyone can also pick one up there).

Here are pictures (scanned from more photo prints that I found in my basement) from Time Machines 2004, 7/24/2004, Durham, CT...
First a couple of overall-type views (that's Jeremy Clayton's Bus--he's the president of CVA--and that's Mac McDonald the VP's red '72 Super Beetle next to it also):
Note the great vanity plate on the front of this beautiful yellow Thing--if it's not readable in the image, it reads: "PLAY":
That's Don Cartsounis' hot rod '62 Bug next to our (former) '70 Squareback:
Here is another view of that super-nice Thing:
And many beautiful Bugs... I think this '72 Baja SE belongs to Dan Cornish:
Joey B's beautiful dark blue '74 Super:
Mac's slick '72 Super:
I wish I knew who owned this beautiful white '67:
Here is Mrs. Stock Steve in our Mango Green '60 Sunroof Bug, with I think our kids and one of their friends:
Cool two-tone '65 or so:
This was our former Cobalt Blue '70 Squareback--now living somewhere in Virginia, I think:
And some detail of the custom bodywork on Don C's hot rod '62 Bug--note the deleted air vents--gives a smooth look indeed:

Wow, did some more digging and came across a wonderful collection of photos from TM1989, in Durham, CT. I'm just going to start out with overall-type shots here, and then get into some individual sub-features from this very fine Time Machines Volkswagen gathering.
In reviewing the photos, I was struck by how many out-of-state notables attended this event, including Greg DeBoer (from Maine, at the time, I think, with his magnificent yellow Ghia), Ted Chaney from Ohio with his beautiful '59 or '60 Camper, Ron Taddeo from Natick, MA with his two top shelf hot rods (Ghia and Buggy), the Pachecos also from MA with their beautiful Zenith Blue '67 Bug, Jim Grundy from Springfield, MA with his light yellow '70 (or so) Bug, and more.
And "Greats" from within CT included the Late Great Legendary Jerry Kelly from Bristol (of "Kelly Enterprises" fame), with his better half Pat, Split Window Beetle drivers of note Chuck Pisconski, Tom Matulis, and Garth Collins, super-enthusiast the late Bill Harbeson with his gorgeous black '59 Convertible Bug, and many more.
Anyway, let's see what we have for overall type shots from 1989...
I think that's Garth Collins black '46 Bug in the middle of the view, and Garth himself with back to camera, white shirt, black hair, talking to another man also with back to camera:
Chuck P's green '50, and Tom M's black suede '51 (I think):
I think these are both Ron Taddeo machines from MA:
This superb red '67 hot rod Bug was powered by a 2-liter engine and won many awards around CT during this time period--I wish I could remember the man's name who built and drove it--was it John something??? EDIT: *Intagliata!* It was John Intagliata who built and drove that awesome '67! Nice car, nice guy!
Anyway, stay tuned for lots more from Time Machines 1989, as I am able to get it done...
2nd EDIT: Cool! I just found my copy of the CT VW Association's newsletter "The VW CONNection," issue #57 ("Volkswagen Hobby News as of about October 17th, 1989"), where the cover story was this very event--so I have plenty of names & descriptions with which to be able to futher identify the cars (most, if not all) from these Time Machines 1989 scanned photos. The actual date of this event was 7/23/1989, and, as previously noted, the location was (the athletic fields of Coginchaug Regional High School) Duham, CT. Anyway, stay tuned for more looks back at this memorable turnout of Antique VWs! _________________ Stock Steve

Continuing with our coverage of the "watershed" year for Antique VW participation at a Time Machines event--1989!
I'll go in the order in which I uploaded the photos...
First, the extremely nice '70 Westfalia Camper of Marianne and Roy Devol, from Southwick, MA:
Two views of a super-kool kustom shortened 1969 Single Cab Pickup, originally from Texas, owned by Don Poplaski from North Windham, CT:
The late Bill Harbeson's spectacular black-on-black 1959 VW Beetle Convertible:
Jimmy Arcucci's super-fine '64 Beetle Sedan from Hamde, CT:
Jim Grundy's super-nice '70 Beetle from Springfield, MA:
Two views of an unknown-owner, but VERY kool "rat" oval sunroof with PA plates (check out that Kabrio engine lid too--wow!):
Bob Brown's beautiful CT-based '71 Ghia Convertible:
And finally for this installment, a couple shots of Greg DeBoer's gorgeous later Ghia Coupe from Maine (with rare Ghia-only wood slat roof rack--wow!):
Stay tuned for lots more Time Machines 1989 feature Antique VWs!... _________________ Stock Steve

More Antique VW participants from Time Machines 1989...
This next car's really cool. From notes recorded in CVA newsletter "VW CONNection" issue #57, it is a '73 Super Beetle from Worcester, MA, owned by Marc-Andre Berthelot. The amazing graphics on the car were done by airbrush, in a "sun and fun" theme. Pretty neat!
I did some googling for the owner's name, and have not found any clues as to whether he's a professional artist, or anything like that (I think he's the person with suspenders in the first shot)...

More Time Machines 1989 Antique Volkswagens of note...
There was a group of three very nice looking Type 181 "Things"--from notes listed in CONNection issue #57, the yellow one appears to have belonged to Steve and Ruth Durand, all the way from Cranston, RI:
One of the true "Legends" of the Connecticut old-VW hobby scene back in the '80s was Bristol's Jerry Kelly, who ran a parts, restoration, and repair business called "Kelly Enterprises." Jerry has since passed away, and it goes without saying that we in the VW hobby miss him greatly--he was such a friendly and helpful guy. He participated in the Time Machines 1989 show with his split window Bug that he called "The Shrimp," and it looks like he had a radio controlled miniature version along with him for the event:
Jerry's better half Pat (like Jerry, another of the all-time nicest people you'd ever want to meet) also was at Time Machines 1989, and it looks like she drove their purple late Ghia:
One more Time Machines 1989 installment to go--stay tuned!! _________________ Stock Steve
