I recently picked up a set of 66-67 wheels & was hoping for some help.

There's a few questions about the stamping I would like to know more about.

I have searched the forums & the google without any success.

Two of the wheels have the 4Jx15 facing outwards as shown in the pic of the black wheel & two are facing inwards as shown in the pic of the white wheel.

I am wondering if anyone knows if they're randomly stamped or if this was changed intentionally during production.

Also, I am guessing the third pic is the month/year of the only wheel I could find with numbers.

Finally, I didn't add the pic, but there's also a T in a circle on all wheels, what's that about?

If I am correct about the month/year codes, my goal is to get a matched set as close to the build date of my bug as possible.

Yes, June of '66. Random location.

4 is the rim width, J is the bead profile, 15 is the diameter. Random location.

T is, this thing is BAAAaaad, like Mr. T! Just kidding, I don't know what T means.

Super late '67 wheels are also different in that they have the extra safety hump for radial tires unlike most of them.
