I am doing a 63 bug for a gentleman who is going to give to his 17 year old daughter. Car was bought new by the gentleman's mother in 63. Car has been sitting since 95. Very solid 83,000 mile orig car. Here are some pics of car in storage. Orig pearl white w/ red interior and 83k miles. Many have tried to buy car but no luck. Owner wants to keep in family. They have decided to paint car L360 sea blue with off white interior. They are not concerned about 100% originality but still want a nice driver for daughter to drive. Restoration started in Nov 2010 and continuing as money permits.

OK, you've got to explain the what appears to be a/c, the oddball fan shroud, the a/c dryer by the engine, etc. Where's the compressor for the a/c?

This car had a dealer installed a/c unit in it. The owner wanted it out of the car. I tried to convince him to keep it but he was adament at removal of it. It was complete except for compressor.
