Hi all,

I just got the build certificate for my Zwitter... I should get one for my 53 oval too.

Im a little confuse with some of the wording in the certificate.

So it had chrome plated bumpers, chrome plated hub caps, chrome plated outlet pipeS ? ... Didnt the zwitters have just one pipe and wasn't that painted ? Has this car had 2 chrome plated pipes ?

Chrome plated front indicator lights... Did zwitters have the option of front indicator lights ? What did they look like ? Were they mounted on top of the fenders or down below the near the head lights ?

So did this car not have semaphores ? Did it have indicatirs at the rear too ?

Chrome plated tank cap ?

Yellow tail lights ?[/img]

Zwiitters have "ribbed" semaphores. No indicators on fenders however there were accessory (after market) indicators for both the fender for replacement of semaphore.
Taillights are not yellow, they are red "heart" taillights so nicknamed because of the heart shape lens on top of the housing.

Exhaust pipe should be a single tip muffler, I believe the tip is zinc plated.

My zwitter is a deluxe model that came with chrome hubcaps, not sure of standard models.

My gas cap is zinc plated. I have seen chrome caps but I believe those are after market.

Can you post pictures of your car?

photos are in his gallery Bill. Ceylon might have had some other odd options? On a RHD, I somehow assumed the headlight switch would be moved to the right and the choke to the left? Although painted parts inside, the window winders are wrong and I thought the vent windows would be painted on a standard.... if it is one? Maybe that's the custom option for chrome trim, windows etc, yet standard wheel and dash knobs.

I think the museum has used a description for M001, that was available for later cars, and does not really relate to your car.

Does anyone have a certificate for their split or oval, showing M001?
DOes it have the same description as Chanaka's?

A question for everyone..........

Option M001, would that be listed as an option on a deluxe split or oval, as it is standard on a deluxe?
Or, is it only listed as an option on standard models?
