So I installed PS on my non PS van yesterday and I have a couple questions I'd like to throw out there for the folks that have already done this or may have some insight. I understand the difference between the spindles that will be taken care of in the future. I have the toe in just about perfect and the tire PSI is correct but I have a sloppy front end. The steering is great it's when I corner the van bounces and wants to dive. Im thinking I need new bushings since they are all OE rubber and have a ton of wear. The end link is the version with the bend in it should I have the straight one on there instead? I have compared the front end to my 86 with stock PS and aside from the control arms this seems to be the only difference. I'm planning on doing the bushings anyway (from T3 (plug)) bit can I just put the straight link in or is the sway bar also a different length? I have access to a 91 front end. I plan on a two week trip in July with a few short trips thrown until then and if I have to put the manual rack back in I will. Also for those who are thinking about doing this it's not bad and took me about 3/4 hours. Just thought I'd throw this out there and see if I get any hits. Thanks for any feedback everybody and happy camping season. _________________ Binger

Hey Binger, the only difference PS made on our 84 Westy was to make it turn easier. I think you need to take that slop out with new bushings and all should be good. The sway bar ends shouldn't make a difference as you still have the control arms that came with the bent ends. _________________ Joe
