so I found a pair of these in the back of one of the westy cabinets. I guess the PO bought then but never got the time to install them.
They say "VW syncro" and "LCA bushing" on them. I would like to install these today but don't know much about them besides lathering them with grease. Other kits that I've seen come with washers. Are some special washers needed to install them? What else could you tell me about these.... _________________ 89 Bostig powered syncro westy |

Dead easy to fit, the biggest part is getting the old ones out.
All original fixings are used. Check out my Bluestar thread for info.

Why do some of the kits come with extra washers? _________________ 89 Bostig powered syncro westy |

I've been wondering the same thing about the extra washers. If I skip the stainless sleeve and six washers, the price is 60% less.
Burley and Van Cafe
vs.
Whiteline
Getting ready to replace mine, and wondering if the extra expense is necessary. _________________ 1986 Westfalia Weekender
