Yep first is the medical diagnosis of Vanagonitis and THEN along comes that OBSESSION. Good for you. Enjoy _________________ '09 2.5L Jetta 5 cylinder, 5 spd, super turbo, see thread in H2O Cooled Jetta, etc...

congratulations.
funny the things one notices in a pic, the syncro badge is a lot smaller than the one I have on my van.

Congrats. I beat you by five days and it's just killing me that I'm on the road travelling to Syncro Solstice on my 2WD
Have fun with it. _________________ Happiness=Portland, Oregon in the rearview mirror! |

Looks nice - congrats! What's your first mod? |
Probably my first mod will be a rhino lining of the rocker panels and nose. I like the looks and durability of it.
Also I will be redoing the floor with a rubber matting and aircraft tiedown rails/points.
This Syncro will serve two purposes. A getaway and go camping vehicle, and a vehicle to work out of.
Future mods will be a poptop, auxiliary fuel tank, 1.9 diesel conversion, and maybe a slight lift. |

It's from a Golf MK3 syncro. The Vanagon syncro badge is bigger
Nice looking syncro, well done. Hope you've got an understanding bank manager/partner!

Congrats on the new ride! Sounds like you've got some great plans for it.
That Syncro badge looks a bit smaller than mine too. Then again, it's not the size of your badge, it's the motion of your Syncro. Or something like that. _________________ No more van. Wildcat has a new home.

X2 dealing with SL12572 has been a total pleasure.
I admit a bit of selfishness, I wanted another Syncro
buddy in the PNW.
As to the Syncro emblem, I see no evidence of it ever
having the larger version and it matches the patina of
the VANAGON GL above it exactly
Extremely happy to have it go to a good home. |
