So I have replaced all the fuel lines, filters, tank seals, injector seals and pump on my 1985 1.9
when I turn key, pump fires up briefly as required.
I am assuming I have to crank engine to feed fuel through system, if so, how long does it generally take?
Anything to be aware of in the procedure?
thanks
Steve

I just did the same on mine. I cycled the key a couple times to let the pump do it's thing and then cranked it. Cranked for maybe 5 seconds and VROOM! All was good.

I did not bleed anything.

I run a pressure test while priming the system.
It will let you know how far along the pump is.

so the job went well
I bled the system into a plastic gas container as it takes a bit to fill the filters, probably 10 cycles on the ignition,
then connected it up, two cycles to get air of line to engine, you can then hear your pump load up and away she goes.
runs great, no leaks at the pump Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
