Hmmm, those Boxster wheels don't look right on your Bug. You should sell them to me.
Just kidding. It's amazing how natural they look on a Beetle. Well, maybe it's no huge surprise since the Bug is sort of the Boxster's great uncle.

other than the rims, that is starting to look just like my car!
my 73 is flat black, with mexican bumpers, and empi 8 spokes, lowered(not sure how much)
my wife says it looks like a bowler hat.... |

Where did you get the seat covers? I know you said Mexico but did you order the \m from VW of Mexico? Did they come with rear seat covers as well?

Yes,OEM VW parts from Mexico. Seat cover order came with covers for all seat bottoms, tops, front and rear, and headrests too.
I ordered them from Antonio Trejo via classifieds on this site.

I ordered the Mexican beetle factory floor carpet kit from parts VW too, but as you can see, it is exactly what is says, just for the floor.
It's almost just like a big assed custom cut floor mat.
I asked about the rest of the pieces, but apparently there aren't any, so I am getting a refund on the carpet.
I am going to order a kit from Mid America or CIP1.

I decided to make my own carpet kit.
I went to Pep Boys bought carpet and insulation.
Total cost for carpet: $30
Total cost for insulation: about $40

Nice a super clean car. Haven't seen it around the Miami hangouts.
I am familiar with the 1600.de site, thank for sharing.
I am for sure going to try to keep the FI system going. Want to get some 34mpg driving in....
