I just bought these off samba and have a few ideas. Even if I blow my upper torso off trying to get them to work, at least I tried.
They look so neat, I may want someone to screw them to my tombstone. That is if it all ends up bad.

I have been to the hilborn website and was amazed. However, I have an idea for the enderle units. If it doesn't work out, I'm not out very much.
Picture from Hilborn Site.

If they were mine I would rebush the shafts, Machine the bosses for Bosch injectors, bead blast them and run an aftermarket ECU.
Then again you could just put them on a non-running "Display" engine. _________________ -John Cox

if you are good and know what you are doing they can be made to work.but not real easy on the street.the efi idea is probably the best.might even be able to make them tbi and plumb to look like there still old school race shit. I wouldn't be afraid to use them.but it might get kinda pricey if you cant make the parts your self. and possiably use 2 barrel valves (1 at each intake)so as not to dribble so much. and the jetting is backwards.been years since I've messed with any of that stuff, many years.they doo look sweet |

MMMmmmMmmm those look tasty. It's been awhile since I've seen those, I forgot how intimidating they look.
What is your application going to be? |

Hang a tps, mount some efi injectors, and have fun. If you did the in out on a very short rail it could look like the original fuel hoses also. I bet you could make some good power with them |

If I had not lost my job I would have bought those last week when I saw them, I would do EFI with them, just mount a TPS on one of them and modify them for Bosch style injectors, That would rate very high on the COOL scale.

MY thoughts exactly (actually gave it some thought) ..... Very easy to dump the mechanical injection stuff... Add TPS and electronic injectors (mega squirt or micro squirt) .... Probably be far better system than mechanical system for everyday...

Here is a great link for somebody like me. From what Ive read, there are some options for a retrofit. These Enderle units look to be somewhat easy to fabricate onto and modify.

So far here is one of my earlier nightmares that I put down on paper that led to all this crap.

Early mechanical fuel injections for racing (mostly)... Was very popular in drag racing in 60's and 70's....
Uses mechanical metering valve to control fuel flow to the 4 injector ports just above where manifolds bolt to head...
