After getting my 65 Squareback, I'm unsure what wheels to go for????
I have a set of Pedrini's but this means swapping my brakes and stub axles etc. This is not a problem but I'm after some ideas
Therefore I'd like to see yours, or your ideas.

ooh the eveolution of my squares wheel choice.......
when i got it it was on painted marathons.....
i then swapped first to polished/detailed mahles(baby burners)
then polished flat4 5.5" fuchs repops....
i did test fit a 16x6 og fuchs but never went through actually using them...
if you want a comparison of baby burners vs fuchs.......
those were all with type3 suspension. now it has a -4" type1 conversion beam and is currently sitting on empi repop sprint stars.........
i did mock up 17x7 cup 2s right after the narrowed beam went in......
i also bought repop chrome and black/machined gas burners but they never went on the car at all and were sold.
i already have it's next set of wheels sitting in the garage waiting for me to refinish them. Performance Industries like on this notch.....
not my car but these full polished turtlebacks look great....

Probably not what you guys are looking for, but I'm "rollin" on off road steelies (heavy). My current tire set up is 31x10.5x15 on I believe 15x7's, doubt they are 8's. I'd like to move to some sort of alloy rim like Mahles or even Riv's with 33x9.5x15 to help reduce rolling resistance and rotational mass etc.

I think the anthracite enkei's are one of the coolest wide 5 wheel on type 3's. The grey works well with most of the stock colors especially sea blue. _________________ '68 Sunroof Squareback
