when i bougth the bus my plan was to only repaint the awful blue/white to turqouise/bluewhite and make it a bit lower.
But that quicky escalated to a full restoration...

Eesh! The only good things about those first welds on the 'before' pics is that they make me look like a pro!
Looks like you're making good progress! |

Fried eggs to bullet conversion?
Late to early taillight conversion?
You're bringing it back to life one piece at a time. Good job
What's the plan for this bus? |

Yes, it will be a mild custom, bullet and small taillights.
plan is a nice driver with 2165cc and discbreaks all around. |

you do good work. And this buses definitely needed it.
every time i see a chewed up frame like this i wonder if something better could not be made.
Think RoadsterShop chassis for the split buses. You know boxed tubing bent complete frame front to back with front and rear subframes, etc. much stiffer, maybe lower profile, too.
options for IRS front and rear, etc. lowered options, raised options, the whole nine yards. _________________ regards
